3. When Your Pay Is Reduced

Everything we do is designed to give our clients a fabulous experience. We understand some procedures can be time-consuming. Please know we do our best to design processes that work best to deliver excellent products to clients as efficiently as possible.

Your contract explains that your payment is determined by successfully completing all aspects of your assignment. You’re a small business owner, and you’re hired to perform a specific service with specific obligations and requirements. In some cases, your pay will be adjusted if you did not successfully meet the project expectations, obligations and requirements. This is not a punishment. We are not trying to earn revenue. Any adjustment in payment is directly related to the costs and expenses that we incur. For example, our photography editing team is paid based on the time they spend on a gallery, which includes culling, reviewing and editing images. If a photographer did not follow instructions, which caused our editing team to spend more time than necessary, the photographer’s pay will be adjusted in accordance with the increase in costs that we pay.

It’s an important part of your job to follow instructions. They’re here for a reason. We’re not trying to make your life difficult! Our production team sometimes handles 50 uploads every single weekend. One upload that was mislabeled can slow down the entire process, resulting is missed deadlines, extra work for our employees, and unhappy clients.

Get paid in full — take your time and follow instructions!
