6. Drone FAQ

WHEN SHOULD I FLY THE DRONE?

We ask clients to designate a 45-minute period of time for you to safely operate the drone during your regular paid hours. It’s the client’s responsibility to allocate 45 minutes in their timeline for drone operations. You are encouraged to communicate with the client when you arrive! They should be aware of this policy because it’s explained in their client portal, questionnaire, contract and planning guide. If the client doesn’t set aside 45 minutes for drone footage, you do not need to fly the drone.

WHAT IF I CAN’T FLY?

You’ll never be penalized if you can’t fly the drone due to safety, weather or airspace restrictions. Please take a screenshot of any FAA or drone apps.

SHOULD I FLY THE DRONE DURING THE CEREMONY?

No. Please do not fly the drone over people. This is against the FAA regulations.

SHOULD I FLY THE DRONE FOR PORTRAITS?

The purpose of drone footage is for scenic, landscape visuals. You should not fly over people.
