1. Time-Sync

Summary: Every camera, from every photographer, must be synced to the exact same time. It’s easy. Use this link to sync all your cameras to the official government time.

https://www.time.is

Time-Sync Verification Requirement
To maintain consistency and accuracy across all client galleries, Original Weddings requires all contracted photographers to follow the time synchronization protocol outlined below!

Time-Sync Cameras Prior to Starting Each Assignment:

Ensure all cameras are accurately synced to the official U.S. time – https://www.time.is

Photograph Proof of Time Sync:

  • At the time of syncing, photographers are required to capture a clear photograph of the https://www.time.is webpage, displaying the current time used for synchronization.
  • This photograph must be taken using the same camera(s) that will be used for the assignment.

Upload With Assignment Images:

  • The time sync photograph must be included in the final image upload with the rest of the assignment deliverables.
  • File name should include the word “TIMESYNC” for easy identification (e.g., TIMESYNC.CR3).

Failure to Comply:
Failure to provide a time-sync verification photograph will result in being paid out in Base Rate for not following our file delivery procedures. More information about Base Rate and Bonus Rate is explained in your contract.
