You’ll maintain an online calendar to tell us your availability. We book weddings based on your Availability Calendar. You can select Yes or No for every Saturday or Sunday of the year. You must be certain your calendar is always 100% correct.
The default setting is no.
You’ll never get an assignment when the date says not available.
You can change each date to yes.
Want to work? It’s easy. Change the date to yes, which means you are 100% available and asking for an assignment.
Your calendar must be 100% correct.
We rely on your calendar to book weddings. After receiving an assignment, you won’t be able to change your mind. It’s your responsibility to keep your calendar 100% correct, all the time.
You can’t cancel an assignment.
If your availability was ‘yes,’ you won’t be able to cancel. This is part of our contract. Please remember we will not ask if you’re still available.
You should have plenty of availability.
We expect you to be available at least two (2) Saturdays per month. You should be ready to commit now to dates 6 to 12 months in advance. We are not looking for “last minute” hires.
If you have not received an assignment, you can switch your availability as often as you want!
If you have received an assignment, you cannot change your mind.

We hold regular workshops to help you learn and grow.
You’ll receive a bonus travel and mileage payment when you drive more than 50 miles from the city center, or 100 miles total round trip. Mileage is always calculated based on the Studio Base for each wedding using the default downtown address from Google Maps. Please remember mileage has nothing to do with your personal house.
The Studio Base is the market where the client booked, and the city where the mileage starts and ends. You can see our map of Studio Base cities above!
After 100 miles round-trip, you’ll receive a mileage payment of $1.00 per mile. We use Google’s default address for the city center as the starting and ending point for every mileage calculation. (It’s never your personal house.)
You can choose what Studio Base(s) you’d like to work in. If you select you’re available in a Studio Base, it means you already live there or will make your own arrangements to get there. You will not be paid extra.
Example: If you live in Miami, you can set yourself as available for assignments in Miami, Tampa and Orlando. This means you will be assigned weddings in any of these Studio Bases. You will not be paid extra to travel to Tampa, for example, if you set yourself as available in Tampa.

Pro Tip: As an independent contractor, you should also keep records of your mileage for tax purposes, and deduct these expenses on your IRS tax returns.
Yes, but you MUST receive written permission from us. At the end of the year, you’ll receive a license. You can re-edit the images in your own style and use them for your portfolio.
No! You don’t need to cull or edit.
After uploading files, we’ll process direct deposit to your bank account. You’ll be paid within 45 days, and often faster.
It’s easy. You’re eligible for the Bonus Rate if you follow procedures, such as starting your upload within 48 hours of the event and labeling your files correctly.
You’ll maintain an online calendar showing your availability. We’ll rely on your calendar to book weddings. Once we’ve booked a wedding for you, you’ll be notified via email about the assignment.
Once you’ve marked yourself as “available” for a certain date, it means you are 100% available, and asking us to book a job for you within your city/region. You will not be able to change your mind.

Keep in mind, we’ll only assign weddings on the dates you mark yourself as available. If you mark yourself as unavailable, you won’t receive any assignments.
You’ll need to contractually agree to photograph all the weddings you are assigned. If you cancel, or don’t show up, you are responsible financially.
We take commitments extremely seriously.
If you aren’t sure you want to photograph a wedding on a certain date, you should mark yourself as unavailable for that date.
Many of our clients book 6 to 12 months in advance. We’re looking for team members who are eager to open their availability calendars. Unfortunately, we’re not looking for “last-minute” shooters. This is not the right opportunity for someone hoping to fill jobs a couple weeks in advance. Our team opens their availability calendars and commits to weddings months and months in advance.
We take commitments extremely seriously. Once you’ve marked yourself as available and received an assignment, you are obligated to photograph or film that wedding.
You’ll only receive assignments for dates you’ve marked yourself as “available.”
Short of an emergency, there is no excuse for being late to a wedding. Our clients hire us because we are reliable. Traffic might be awful. There could be a road detour. Your GPS could send you down the wrong road. Our clients expect us to plan ahead.
